We've increased our seating capacity as we aim for Tier 2 Licensing

The club has ambitions of securing Tier 2 Licensing to allow us to take part in the new FAW Structure in future years

This is no easy task with lots of work needed off the pitch including increased administration and many developments around the ground

With the fantastic support from many we have pushed ahead far more than we believe and some special people to be named are Jon Hughes (who did all the administration bits we didn't understand), Richard Beale (who supervised the installation of the electrics and the CCTV), Brian Birch (who did all the groundwork for the road and services), Gerald Toner (who helped install the blue seats) and Ray Hankey who did .... well nearly everything else ......

There was Leighton, Des and Lyn who helped with the flooring, plastering and made us suffer their practical jokes!

There were all the sponsors of seats (and there are now more to sponsor) who helped us buy the initial blue ones from Penybont

Now, today, we have our two new stands taking our seating capacity up to 154 which is still 96 short of Tier 2 but we hope it shows the FAW our commitment

We received a Grant from the Welsh Ground Improvement committee and support from our bonkers Christmas fundraising in Tesco. They were delivered by Arena Seating and installed very efficiently .... we also had support from Fields in Trust, Neath & Port Talbot Council and Celtic Leisure to get to this point.

Finally we should mention our own committee who work for one thing only which is to improve the club's status .......... and we are getting there slowly !

A good day at Parc Ynysderw !!!
