On March 1st, St Davids Day, Angel Rangel’s fantastic group became FAW Academi Champions at Under 15 level with a 3-1 at Merthyr Town’s Penydarren Park.

Facing The New Saints in the final the lads went 1-0 down to a penalty early in the second half but bounced back with a penalty from Finley Thomas which was followed two further goals, one for Levi Jones and another penalty, scored this time by Jasper Blackmore.

This group of players has now made history by winning their 3rd National title in 4 years. A fantastic group and another example of the strength of Pontardawe Town’s Academy and the impact we as a club are having in the development of future stars at all levels.
