Llantwit Major's hammering of Carmarthen Town condemned Garry Taylor's side to relegation on goal difference despite and excellent performance against Baglan Dragons in the sunshine

Town were the better side throughout with Artiom Legavec the stand out player as he drove at the home side's defence at every opportunity

Town took the lead on 35 minutes with a goal from the hard working Andzejs Dubjaga but during his celebrations he picked up an injury which forced him off the field and he was replaced by Tom Davies. It is another unfortunate setback from Andz as he has been injured for most of the season. Town remained on top until the half time whistle came

Either side of the goal Town had hit the post twice and the crossbar once

The home side improved in the second half but had very few clear opportunities and on 75 minutes Town extended their lead through a Tyler Aylward penalty. On 86 minutes though Williams scored for the home side and it led to a nervy final 10 minutes (inc added on time)

With seconds to go the match official awarded the home side but the penalty flew over the bar and Town came away with the 3 points

Unfortunately it wasn't to be and Llantwit's result confirmed relegation on goal difference and next season Town will be playing in the Ardal League South West Division at Tier 3 level
