Evans & Williams, who came up from Tier 4 this season, were the visitors to Parc Ynysderw on this Ardal South opener
Following relegation there has been a dissapointing mass exodus from Town but a number of key personnel have stayed loyal and with the introduction of new management team Ben Williams and Kraig Dhar things have settled down
Evans & Williams came with a squad full of experience including two former Town players in Iwan McNabb and Owain Phillips-Taylor
The visitors had the best of the first half against a much changed Town that showed 8 players making their debuts in the starting line up. There were many positives to be taken though and the teams went in at half time with very few chances having been created by either team
In the 65th minute referee Garwyn Davies awarded the visitors a penalty after Bruno Forkuoh had to evade a Craig Davies tackle and, despite not going down, the official awarded a penalty which was scored by Liam Samuel.
Town worked hard for the equaliser but also had to rely on Nathaniel Osborne in goals to make some key saves
So a defeat in the first game but lots of positives to be taken out of the game
