This was expected to be a tough game for the visitors but despite an early scare they dominate the game and should have come away with more than the 2 goals
Morriston thought they had scored early on but whether it had crossed the line was debatable and neverthless the assistant referee flagged for a foul on keeper Nat Osborne
From then the game was pretty much all Pontardawe Town who scored two goals in the first half but missed a few chances also. The first goal was a superb cross field ball from Alfie Brown which Dafydd Hyett caught in his stride and despite his first shot being saved he netted the rebound. Then it was Alfie Brown against who defended well and Town broke with Daffydd Hyett feeding an unmarked Will Thomas who scored his first goal of the season
In the second half Will Thomas had a further chance as he faced a one on one with the Morriston keeper but his shot went wide. Further chances came and went and there was some slight dissapointment that the scoreline was greater but an excellent 3 points nevertheless
