After 5 weeks without a game the lads visited Clydach FC and put in their worst performance of the season. Clydach put on a real show with lots of young footballers present and even Sgorio were in attendance to film the occasion.
Clydach started well and scored early on with a great strike from Letworthy as Town simply couldn't get going. Not long after, Nathan Jones, one of 3 players who joined Clydach FC from Pontardawe Town this season, scored from close range to make it 2-0. Just before half time Jake Barrow pulled one back for Town to give Town some hope
The second half came with high expectations but an early goal from Thomas extended Clydach's lead and they went on to win the game without any further incident.
Overall a poor game played on a pitch not worthy of the level of competition but a deserved win for Clydach who got revenge for last season's derby treble which saw Town win all 3 games comfortably.
It was also nice to see the Sgorio coverage showed that Clydach probably dislike Pontardawe Town more than the Scottish dislike the English ... Swansea Valley rivalries .... lol !!
