Goals from Jacob Lund and Josh Cole gave Pure Swansea the win they probably deserved overall after a pulsating encounter at Parc Ynysderw
Town gave a debut to Jordan Stallibrass who joined in the week from South Coast team Billinghurst FC. Also on the bench was Cameron Isaac who joined us from Cwmamman United over the holiday period.
With the visitors flying in recent months it was important that the Town players put the Clydach performance behind them and they certainly did that as they went toe to toe against the men in orange.
An even first half saw both sides with good chances but it took a fine strike by Jacob Lund to break the deadlock on 41 minutes
Town were looking for a good start in the second half but on 50 minutes Josh Cole fired home from close range after a quick breakout by the visitors. Soon after the Pure Swansea manager, Jack Midwinter, was sent off for dissent by referee Teifion Cook
Town,to be fair, werent disheartened and played some excellent football but it took until the 80th minute when Steffan Jenkins's free kick took a deflection and looped over the keeper. In the dying minutes Town had two more chances to level but failed to take them and it was Pure Swansea who move into the semi finals
