Town travelled to Cardiff on a Friday night but failed to keep their early season form going so went out of the Welsh Cup at Qualifying Round One

A 7th minute goal by Goncalo Ferreira gave the home side a lead and, despite, Town having the better of the exchanges in the game they failed to trouble the home side keeper except for a couple of chances
