Town visited Goytre United with hopes of a play off still in their grasp

The game started in dry conditions but it didn't take long for the rain to arrive but, by this time, Town had gone into a 2-0 lead. On 11 minutes Kyle Copp scored assisted by Steffan Jenkins. Five minutes later Jenkins, who had returned after his concussion in the Trophy Final, scored after good work by Ollie Nedza. Town were dominant now and on 26 minutes Kyle Copp got his second, and his 29th of the season, when he was found by Will Thomas, who was having a superb game. Town weren't able to convert the remaining chances but went in at half time leading 3-0.

Five minutes into the second half, any thoughts of a Goytre United come back were dashed when Kyle Copp found Ollie Nedza and he got a deserved goal and Town's 4th. Town then went on to create a number of chances and even scored a superb team goal but it was dissallowed for offside. Meanwhile, the home side were giving it a go but never really caused any concern and didn't really look like scoring.

The game ended 4-0 to Pontardawe Town and it is another 3 points towards a play off final against Cwmbran Town. One win from the last two games against AFC Llwycoed [Away / Sat 23rd May] and Cefn Cribbwr [Home / Tuesday 26th May] is needed
