Despite a very strong performance at a difficult place to go, Town were left frustrated after chances were not taken whilst some were lost due to some contentious decisions by the officials. Veo reviews show that two Town chances were denied by incorrect offside calls in a game that Town had to win to maintain a title challenge.
Town weren't at their fluid best but still carved out a number of opportunities with Kyle Copp hitting the upright from a corner early in the first half. The hosts were looking dangerous but in the first half never really created any clear cut chances. Town were denied an excellent opportunity when Kyle Copp was put through but the assistant referee flagged for offside which, on post match referee, was not offside.
In the second half Town lost Luke Roberts to injury and he was replaced by Jordan Cullen. Another contentious offside was given when Jake Barrow was clearly through. Rangers were looking dangerous also and one passage of play saw Nat Osborne pull off save after save to keep them out. Late in the game Kyle Copp was put through but he failed to score when one on one with the keeper
A draw was probably a fair result but that draw gave the title to Pure Swansea who had finished their season with a convincing win at Seven Sisters Onllwyn. Town must now focus on winning their remaining games to get their name down for the play off game against the runner up in the East Division
