Town (Pontardawe that is) maintained their good recent form with the heavy defeat of Morriston Town at the Dingle.
They were without centre halves Luke Roberts (Shoulder), Steffan Jenkins (Concussion protocols), Harri Lawson (on a jolly) and Jesse Meacock (suspended) but still fielded a strong side which saw veteran Kieran Griffiths come on to the bench against a side he transferred from in the spring.
Morriston were dealt a massive blow on 14 minutes when keeper Cann was adjudged to have prevented a goalscoring opportunity when he brought down Jake Barrow. He was given a red card but 8 minutes later though, Luke Dalling gave the home side the lead. Pontardawe rallied and on 32 minutes Kyle Copp levelled and then just on half time Copp scored to give Pontardawe Town a 2-1 half time lead. Eliot Thomas was then replaced by Jordan Cullen after he sustained a nasty cut to his head from a collision.
Pontardawe then put the game out of sight with two quick goals through Josh Dorward (67m) and Ollie Nedza (69m). Immediately they made a raft of changes and were able to see the game out comfortably, including giving a season debut to Kieran Griffiths late in the game.
Another 3 points on the road and, with 3 to play, the lads now need 2 wins to guarantee a play off place against East runners up - Cwmbran Town
