Town started the game with just one change from last week as Liam Samuel came in for Jake Barrow, who was returning to his former club. The home side featured a few familiar faces including former Pontardawe Town Youth player Adam Roscrow.
With the sun, and the breeze, at their backs the home side looked dangerous as Roscrow used his experience and strength to cause problems. Town were playing well and also looking equally dangerous but the wind was causing issues. The opening goal came on 30 minutes when Thomas Stokes scored with a header that looped over Nat Osborne. To their credit Town continued to play the better football and got a deserved equaliser when Jesse Meacock cut inside from the right and beat the keeper at his near post.
After the break Town weren't able to replicate their first half performance for some time and that saw the home side cause numerous problems. Slowly Town came back into the game and they went close on a number of occasions. In the last 10 minutes Town should have taken the lead when Ollie Nedza found himself clear but his strike was saved by the keeper and the game ended in a draw, which was the minumum Town deserved.
