The first half was a dull affair with Aberdare Town having one or two decent chances whilst it was starting to look like the home side needed a reminder where the goal was. That was until the dying seconds of the half as up stepped Christian Evans with a wonderful strike which gave the keeper no chance (1-0)

The second half was all Pontardawe Town and the despite the efforts of the visitors a second goal was inevitable and it came on 70 minutes through Liam Griffiths (2-0).
Just two minutes later Kurtis Rees scored his first with a cracking strike (3-0)

Substitute Josh Dorward was causing no end of problems for the visitors and he supplied Pontardawe Town's 4th giving Liam Griffiths a tap in for his second of the day (4-0)

As the game came to an end there was still time for Kurtis Rees to get two further goals and claim the match ball (well technically he could have if Josh Doyle hadn't hit it out of the ground and probably into the river!!)
