Town Reserves were looking to get their first win in their first home game of the season but, in doing so, they needed to hang on to any lead the got.
Brad Cooze scored a good goal right on half time and Matt Coley got his 3rd of the season to put the lads into a 2-0 lead.
It was then twitchy bum time again as Village got one back and went on the attack.
Fortunately substitute Alex Giardelli made a great break and went on to give the home side a 3-1 lead
Village weren't done for and scored in injury time and there was still even time for a few scares before the excellent referee Wayne Neal blew the final whistle
